Fertilizing Your Fairy Garden

An important part of maintaining your fairy garden is feeding it. This step is especially important if your fairy garden is in a container. Our recommendation is to use a liquid feed at full strength at least once a month. You could also use a diluted feed every week if that’s easier to remember. We love using liquid kelp, any brand will do, simply follow the directions on the package.

If your fairy garden is mostly filled with succulents, your feeding requirements will be lower. Only feed every other month or every third month. Succulents naturally do well with less water and less nutrition.

Fertilizing your fairy garden is especially important if you have flowering plants. The extra nourishment will keep them blooming as long as possible. More flowers make for happier fairies, so keep that garden fed!

How often do you feed your fairy garden?
